Use a large paper Christmas tablecloth to wrap large bulky gifts.
Perch a small bird decoration inside a wire whisk using a pipe cleaner, wire, or a glue gun. Add a bow and hang in the kitchen. To give as a gift, add a card that says: “Whisking you a Merry Christmas.”
Spray candleholders with Pam spray before inserting new candles, then any excess drips of wax will lift off easily without scraping.
Aluminum pull-tabs from soft drinks can be glued to the back of small pictures for hangers.
A magnetic pincushion is helpful to hold pieces of cut florist wire when working on fresh flowers.
When stringing beads dip the ends of the string in clear nail polish and let dry. The stiffened string then becomes its own needle. |
